Case Studies - VW Crafter/ MAN TGE Van Racking

This VW crafter van started off as a blank canvas and with black paintwork was very dark inside, not great for a plant service van. We added light grey polypropylene wall & door lining which instantly lifted the interior illumination and compared to wooden ply lining reduces fuel consumption and increase payload.

The customer had some main specific requirements when it came to the internal van racking design, so we included a clear section on the offside front to house a compressor. With the addition of the Mobil-Box carry cases easily accessible from the rear these allow easy access and safe storage for consumables like bolts, fuses etc.

Some red storage boxes and drawer units complete this section.

The customer requested workbench facilities with plenty drawer storage with in drawer storage boxes. The additional drop down access doors on both sides allows safe storage with out spilling out onto the walkway area. To finish it off a pull out vice allows for heavy work to be carried out at the rear of the van.
