Battery Back-up Siren: A 120DB siren with anti-sabotage housing is installed within the engine bay. This system will remain active for some time should the battery be cut.
Door, Bonnet & Ignition Protection: The cab doors and bonnet are connected via the CAN system, triggering the alarm if either are opened without authorisation. Turning the key in the ignition whilst the system is active will also trigger the alarm.
Internal Sensors: Mounted within the cab, ultrasonic sensors detect movement within the interior, triggering the alarm if disrupted.
Visual Deterrent: A super-bright LED is mounted within the dashboard and a window sticker is provided, notifying attackers that the van has an active alarm system.
Factory Key Compatible: The L4V Van Alarm operates using the vehicle's factory key and central locking system.
Anti-Peel Sensors: Vehicle-specific brackets with electronic sensors are installed onto the van’s load area doors. These detect when an attacker attempts to 'peel' or fold down your doors and will trigger the alarm.
Load Area Sensors: Passive infrared (PIR) sensors can be installed to detect both heat and movement within the load area.
Load Area Siren and Bracket: An additional 120DB siren and anti-sabotage housing can be installed into the van’s load area, sounding simultaneously with the engine bay siren.

Vehicle Security Tracking has evolved greatly over the years and has become a big part of keeping your vehicle or asset protected while parked on your drive at home or keeping your business growing out on the road.
Insurance approved vehicle tracker systems fall into two categories, these are S7 or S5 Vehicle Tracker. If your insurance company has asked you to fit a S5 or S5+ vehicle tracker there will be little point negotiating for the much cheaper S7. S5 and S5+ trackers are often an insurance requirement for high value, high performance, new cars. In these cases it is usually impossible to get insurance without an S5 or S5+ system installed and monitored.
S5 & S5+ Highest specification: provides the greatest level of security and recoverability, level 1 police response (immediate response)
S7 Lower specification: lower level police response
S5+ Remote immobilisation: S5+ can not only track the whereabouts of a stolen vehicle, but has the ability to immobilise the car remotely.
S5 No remote immobilisation
S7 No remote immobilisation
S5 Protects against key theft: the owner must carry a small transponder unit the size of a credit card separately to the car keys, for example in a wallet. If the car is started with the keys but the transponder isn’t present the system with know the car has been stolen and will alert the operations centre which in turn will alert the police and owner.
S7 No protection against key theft* you have to alert the service centre when you notice the theft.
S5 & S5+ Expensive to fit and higher annual subscriptions
S7 Cheaper to fit and lower subscriptions
