Vauxhall Vivaro Van Racking Fitout

This brand new customer contacted us to come up with a van racking design to maximise the space available after down sizing from a larger van. This was a challenge we were happy to take on and the end result speaks for itself. This Vauxhall Vivaro van started off as a blank canvas but did have a load area floor already installed. 

Wall/Door Lining

We completed the lining out with Legend light grey polypropylene wall/ door and ceiling lining which instantly lifted the interior illumination and compared to wooden ply lining reduces fuel consumption and increase payload.

Van Racking

The customer had some main specific requirements when it came to the internal van racking design, so we included pull out drawer storage units on both nearside & offside side load doors. With the addition of the Mobil-Box carry cases easily accessible from the rear these allow easy access and safe storage for consumables like bolts, fuses etc.

Some red storage boxes and drop down vice work area complete this section.

The customer requested just standard shelving on the nearside with additional drop down lower access doors on both sides, allows safe storage with out spilling out onto the walkway area. 

Additional Lighting

To make this van stand out from the crowd we added interior strip lighting with dual 900mm amber lightbars installed on both the front and rear of the van.

In addition to the Amber lighting some front and rear lower strobes were added for maximum impact.

Some slimline worklights were added at the rear inside facing out and using our neat slimline lamps keeps the finish clean.

On-Board Power

The customer also requested a power inverter source to allow for charging hand tools and laptop while out on the field. Only the best for this job and with a 1200va Victron Energy inverter neatly installed under the passenger seat with double socket located on the bulkhead next to the racking shelf offered the perfect space for the chargers while utilising available space under the seat hide the inverter.

2 Way CB Radio

With this van occasionally being used for escorting the customer ask us to install a 2 way cb radio and to make the rear look symmetrical we added an additional flexi aerial.
